Robb and Krissy Merritt, the dedicated owners of Laying It Down, embarked on their journey in Charlotte, North Carolina, back in November 2000, shortly after exchanging vows in Phoenix, Arizona. Charlotte swiftly became their beloved home, where they've nurtured their family and woven their lives into the fabric of the community.
In July 2001, armed with Robb's innate talent for design and an unwavering commitment to detail, they established Laying It Down, initially focusing on tile installation services. However, fueled by their passion for crafting exquisite living spaces, the company rapidly evolved into a renowned kitchen and bathroom remodeling enterprise.
Today, Laying It Down stands as a beacon of excellence and integrity in the remodeling industry, holding licenses as a General Contractor in both North Carolina and South Carolina. Robb and Krissy lead their dedicated team, infusing every project with their signature blend of craftsmanship and care.
Beyond their professional endeavors, Krissy is a licensed Realtor, further deepening their connection to the world of homes and real estate.
